There are several other brilliant studies written by Jen, including Joshua and Judges that are currently unavailable for download, but should be up sometime soon. James might be dense, but it’s worth every second of effort and study. Such as: learning to control my tongue, how to be impartial, hearing a word from scripture and living it out, or how to be patient in suffering. However, there are lessons I learned in the study of the book of James that I will never forget. Jen is a big supporter of biblical literacy, so her studies are a bit more dense that others I’ve encountered.

You can find Jen’s studies on Lifeway, but some are free to download, like James! Not just scripture itself, but taking my heart knowledge and allowing it to fuel my head knowledge. It was the first time I fell in love with learning scripture. I’d go on a six mile run and listen to her teach through Genesis, Joshua, Judges, Hebrews, etc. While I was in college I stumbled upon her teaching materials and podcast and for weeks it was all I listened to. I cannot say enough good things about Jen Wilkin. You can tell the quality of a Bible study by the condition of the book at its conclusion.
